Problems with Itunes! Please help!

If anyone could give me any ideas I'd really appreciate it. I'm a subscriber to a podcast and on my old computer I'd get a prompt for my username/password (because you have to provide that since it's a pay service) but on my laptop computer now when I try to download the podcast in Itunes I get the following error message:

There was a problem downloading
"http://rss/premiereradio.net/podcast/rushlimb.xml"

Authorization is needed to access
"http://rss/premiereradio.net/podcast/rushlimb.xml"

I am using the most recent version of Itunes and have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I just am never seeing the username/password prompt. It's not just this one site either, I've tried other pay sites and I'm never seeing the prompt for a username/password and getting this same error message.

Why the heck isn't it asking me for my username/password?? I've literally worked on this for hours and I'm just at a wits end here!!

Hmm..interesting, possible I guess, but since it's a Dell it probably is a fan of the mega-corporate evil entity.

I copied it directly from the site with copy/paste but maybe you're right. I'll try when I get home tonight and see if that fixes it, it could just be as simple maybe (hope) as a mistyped URL on the homepage.

I ask because that page only asked me for a password when I replaced the / with a .

wow, that is great to hear that it did ask you, that's been what's so frustrating about this, it never would ask me!! thanks again, i'll let you know how it turns out tonight!!
