My prediction? Chuck will choose to have Intersect put back into his head to save the girl. Then his Dad gets killed and he's back to square 1.

Or something like that. I bet he has to make some sort of choice and it involves going back to his old life working for the govt.

I agree that something along those lines will happen, with Chuck willingly taking on the Intersect again.

Agreed on both counts. I really hope we get a third season, and I loved the development of Awesome. He really has come a long way since the pilot.

As far as the future of the show, I believe I had read that the season finale would be constructed so it could provide an ending to the series if possible, but it would also leave a way for them to take the show into season three.

Also, no more Morgan? Things are changing at the Buy More... who will be Buster's - I mean, Emmett's - ***. Man. now?

I'm 50/50 about renewal. On one hand they referred to next week's episode as a season finale not a series finale so thats good news. The problem folks is ****ing Jay Leno. Leno's new show is taking up 5 hours of primetime each week. Sunday is taken up by football in the fall, Tuesdays has the Biggest Loser and one of the Law and Orders. Thursdays is for comedies. Saturdays is for reruns.

That leaves two 4 hours of programming. Now NBC is picking up a pilot called "Parenthood" for next season leaving 3. Its safe to assume that NBC will pick up 1 or 2 more new shows. That leaves maybe 1 hour and thats a fight between Southland (a show with better ratings), Chuck and Medium.

Now that i think about it...it doesnt look too good for Chuck. Best case scenario: They give Chuck a 13 episode order and air it in the Spring after Football is over.

I don't know why they don't do what they did with L&O:CI and air it on USA. Chuck would fit in perfectly with their "Characters Welcome" mantra and with quirky shows like Psyche.

L&O is pretty cheap to produce while Chuck isnt. Thats the main reason.

That's a good point. Even with how popular Deadwood was with HBO the cost of production doomed it especially when Rome came along.

Firefly could not have been exactly cheap to make and FOX axed that so who knows. I hope Chuck gets at least 1 more season.

That is awesome, though if I were one of those Subway workers I'd probably be pissed.
