    Re: Chuck

I don't like the whole dream thing they have Chuck doing. It just seems way too unrealistic, predicting the future. I mean I know that his dreams aren't all that accurate but there is just no correlation between the events in his dreams and data that's on the intersect, considering the intersect is the reason he's having these dreams. I mean how the hell is he gonna know if Shaw is alive or not? I know the whole concept of the show is a bit unrealistic but the whole dreaming thing is just way too nonsensical for me.

That said, the last episode has picked things up a bit and I'm looking forward to the finale. The few episodes before this one have been pretty disappointing, but bringing back the dad angle always make for a good storyline. I really don't want Ellie to find out all of the spy business going on. Things are moving a little too fast. I know the show's future was in jeopardy but they're jumping the shark a bit prematurely. I was kind of disappointed how soon Morgan and Awesome found out about Chuck, and how he and Sarah are already a couple and acting like they're married.

I understand what you are saying, but I don't get "how soon Morgan and Awesome found out". It took about 40 episodes for them to find out about him.

Anyways, FINALE TONIGHT. I can't wait. After seeing the Promo, it looks super intense.

I just preferred that none of the "civvies" knew his secret. I liked how they made storylines about how hard it was on Chuck to keep secrets from his friends and family. I understand how it could get old but the fact that the CIA/NSA are okay with them knowing and actively participating gets into the "too unrealistic" territory for me (again, disclaimer about the whole show's idea being unrealistic). Especially in the first season where Gen Beckman would threaten complete lockdown if anyone ever found out, and now all of a sudden it's cool.

The episode where Morgan found out is still one of my favs of the series though...

Chuck wasn't a spy in the first season though. Now he is one of the most valuable spies Beckman has.

Chuck has lost 4 of their main writers/producers recently:

Phil Klemmer, Ali Adler, Scott Rosenbaum, and Matt Miller.

This might have an impact on the quality of episodes next season.

It still looks like the 2 creators do a bulk of the work, so I'm not really worried...

I was worried they wouldnt have a storyline for season 4, I think they got one now.

                  Very good finale.

Jeffster is staying. I read a quote from Shwartz (I think, might have been Fedak) who said it would be hard to imagine the show without Jeffster. Good signs, good signs.

                        Epic Epic season finale.

                        So much went down tonight:

                        - Shaw was defeated but he still isn't dead
                        - The Ring Elders appear to be captured
                        - The Intersect program was going to be shut down but it didn't happen
                        - Chuck's Dad is dead
                        - Ellie found out about Chuck being a spy
                        - Jeffster are fugitives
                        - Big Mike's future is unknown
                        - The Buy More was blown up
                        - Chuck has "retired"
                        - Chuck is now going to search for him Mom
                        - Casey finally revealed to his daughter that he was her father

Someone get me a cig, lol.

Fedak said when they only had 13 episods, the fight between Shaw and Chuck was suppose to be at the Eiffel Tower but they scaled it back to the bridge once they knew they had 6 more episodes.

I'm glad the Chuck team has more time to plan out next season but I'm worried about how NBC has only committed to 13 episodes with an option for a back 9. Knowing how many episodes there are makes a big difference in the storytelling.

Morgan's line from "Cobra" was classic when him and Casey captured the Ring operatives.

I really hope they play out Morgan having a relationship with Casey's daughter. The comedic potential for that storyline is off the charts.

Of all the finale's I watched in the last week, this one took the cake. I didn't expect much from it to be honest and was pleasantly blown away.
