    Re: Chuck

I don't know how anyone who is a fan of the show could hate on this weeks episode.. I mean for one, you got Yvonne modeling bikini's in the first 10 minutes of the episode.. A couple of classic Casey one liners. Armand Assante returning... Awesome's statue!

I agree the Premiere wasn't that good.. But it's been going up for there. Hopefully NBC picks up the back 9 and extends the season to 22 episodes.

It was better than last week. Though, I am wondering when John Cena will make his appearance on Chuck

Also, looks like Chuck is in for a full season, 24 episodes.

Awesome! Last night's ep was quality, glad it's around at least for the rest of the season...

Since after this season they will be exactly 22 episodes away from the "magic 100 #" needed for syndication, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet this show returns for a full season next year as well... Just speculation on my part, but it doesn't make sense to leave that money on the table.

That would be true if NBC actually owned the show. Warner Bros. does and they get the majority of the money from syndication. NBC has no real financial incentive to keep the series going another year if the ratings dont improve.

Good point, forgot WB owns the rights. But it's not like NBC has a lot of flagship shows left. In fact, I'm pretty sure Chuck is now the current longest running drama/comedy on the network, not counting Law & Order. If they were smart, they would move this show to Wednesday Nights at 8PM.

If they were smart they would have switched this show's night awhile ago. Being on at Monday and competing with the CBS comedies definitely hurts it. At least that's my opinion. I love the show but I never watch it live.

I don't know what The Apprentice does for ratings in that timeslot, but I always though Chuck would fit perfectly on Thurdays at 10e/9c.

I think it's light-hearted comedic nature would fit perfectly with the other comedies on that night.

I'm enjoying this season but the show has lost some of its charm because Chuck is no longer a bumbling idiot. He's almost never at the Buy More anymore.

For a show that has faced budget cuts, I wonder why they waste money on the Greta character. Instead of bringing in C-C+ stars for the role, they would be better off having people like Awesome/Ellie in every episode.

Agreed 150% on all counts. Chuck's naivety to the spy world is what made him and the entire show endearing to viewers. Obviously his character has to have some progression after 3 seasons, but he should still be the same wisecracking, video game loving nerd. His whole serious spy act now makes this show no different than any other spy show out there and it's gotten really dull.

I forgot to add they also made his character a very whiny bitch (not last week though) when he was discussing his relationship with Sarah. He was being really needy.

You could argue Morgan basically was the old Chuck in the last episode.

I'm not sure if this is happening because the show has lost most of its core writers to other shows in the past year. Chuck should always be the underdog.

Chuck's becoming more needier and whinier every episode. It's starting to get really annoying.

Back to back strong episodes. The acting was top notch tonight (especially Dalton).

It's mind boggling why this show doesn't have a bigger audiance.

                                Really liked the episode.

                                The fight/fight scene was awesome.
