This is not directed at everyone but I know posters are not on this site trying to predict her death as if it's a joke? Come on fellows this is human life we are talking about. This is someones daughter we are mocking here and none of it is funny. From the pictures something is wrong medically with her but Moderators this is offensive and just not right of some O'sers making a mockery out of this sad situation. This thread is bad taste IMO.

We'll close a thread if someone says something negative or bash EA but we will keep a thread open for someone who needs help and joke about it. Very sad Mods.

Drugs have ruined a lot of lives in this world and at some point it probably has affected a family member or friend. jake44np it could be your sister, mother, your own child. This is a sad case but to make a mockery out of someones failures is not cool. My Stepfather ruined our family, we lost everything, home, my sisters and I were split up because of this. He tried so hard to kick the habit and just could not. He cared it just the drugs consumed his mind and his will to win the battle. I still love the man to death because he would admit no matter how hard he tried he just could not overcome and admitted it. He went to rehab at least on 5 occassion and got cleaned but if something negative happened he easily fell back into his drug desease. Did that mean he did not care?

Just buried my 1st cousin in Feb 2008. She volunteered and went to rehab over and over. But by your remarks jake44np i guess my cousin did not care about her self so why should anyone else.

Buried another cousin who died from complications from Aids due to intravaneous use and I can't tell you how many times she cried to me, not asking for money but just to talk about how the craving just drove her nuts.

So go ahead and make your jokes and demeaning remarks if that's how you feel, because a lot of times what goes around comes around. Making jokes about someones sickness is not what Operation Sports is about. If it is as of recent let me know so I can step away from OS because I expected a little more respect for human life. And let me mention i have been guilty of being out of line from time to time so if this is the case I truly understand. Peace!!!!

Jsky has a very good point.

When it comes down to it... members of this community are making jokes about her life. It may seem trivial to some... but I always thought a majority of the guys here had a little more class than that.

Let's not turn the board into your everyday, teen ridden, internet "cool" board where anything goes.

Good post Sky. Just because she's a celebrity doesn't mean that she's less deserving of concern when she's clearly struggling badly with addiction. It's sad, because she really is talented. It's fine if you don't care, but outright hoping for her death as some people here seem to be doing ("We're getting close!") is just in really bad taste.

You know what she needs? She needs to chill out in Ostende, Belgium. If it worked for Marvin Gaye it could work for her!

I'm only half kidding though as I do think she needs to step out of the hustle and bustle of the limelight. Go somewhere where she may not be recognized and just lay off the drugs and booze. It would do her a world of good and it wouldn't be as restrictive as say, going to rehab which hardly ever works.

I'm not even a fan of the woman but I wish people who are around her are doing all they can to try and help save this young woman. From what I have seen of her she seems to be very talented.

Sometimes I have to remember the younger generation of kids get on here and if they see some of us with several thousand post they are gonna think it's okay to do this type of thing. Mods have been doing a good job of keeping these boards respectable and enjoyable with their monitoring and jake44 I was not trying to call you out or anything man because I have much respect for you and I use a lot of what you post to my advantage so hope you don't take it the wrong way so let's not kiss and make up and just call it cool. You make a great point and I'm sorry for your losses and while I don't approve of the jokes it really comes down to this. Drug Addiction started with a choice. Most people who made that choice to use drugs know what comes with it. If they get addicted they have to live with it.

its not like companies or the public make it a secret that you can get addicted to drugs and die. as soon as you pick it up and do it the first time, they should just consider it suicide. i can see people getting offended because they are making jokes about amy or what ever drug addicts they are talking about, but feeling sorry for someone committing suicide is a joke to me.

You make a great point and I'm sorry for your losses and while I don't approve of the jokes it really comes down to this. Drug Addiction started with a choice. Most people who made that choice to use drugs know what comes with it. If they get addicted they have to live with it.

So true RAZRr, not trying to Preach to the choir but man us older cat's have to stay on our kids, neices , nephews and always show them it is a better way to go. I have 2 teenagers and I stay on them, not to the point to where they are chained down but we talk about everything. I know they BS me sometimes and I tell them when I think they are BS'ing me and they always end up like Dad how did you know. We laugh and I remind them that I was a kid and at times still am. I have kept my kids in sports, my daughters in dance and things have been pretty good for me.

I really feel us older cats can make a difference of course after we finish playing our console of choice for the day Console, Religion for those who choose, kids, and the Mean Wifey is last. She always wants my gaming time. Peace fellows

I don't know if you're just referencing "suicide" by way of drug overdose, but there are plenty of situations to feel sorry for someone who commits suicide.
