      just wondering.
On the drug front, you would expect the same type of reaction.

How the two relate in all other things? Heath was great to his fans and regarded as a nice guy with a drug problem. His acting was (in my and many others' opinions) phenomenal.

Amy showed up to shows drunk, high, stumbling, and slurring words. I've heard of a few instances of her performing poorly and being met with boos, then telling all her fans she already had their money so it didn't matter. Most would say she only had one good album.

But yes, their drug problems are very similar.

Heath had a daughter. But heck he did a great job as The Joker in The Dark Knight though! So he gets a pass

Has anyone listened the AW's first album Frank and if so is it any good? I liked Back to Black but I never heard the first album.

I have, and I like it. If you liked her music and want to hear more of her, then of course check it out. It's not Back to Black though. It's a lot more jazzier.

Right, in the public eye, Heath was considered a better person pre- and post-death. That's not what your response said.

Heath had a daughter. But heck he did a great job as The Joker in The Dark Knight though! So he gets a pass
I never said Heath gets a pass on his drug problems. I started and ended the post saying Heath's and Amy's addictions were very similar. The middle was me saying why the reaction from the public has been very different.

Well, prior to death I think they were both perceived differently by the public, so I guess it makes sense that the same holds true post-life. Heath was an actor who had a drug problem and Amy Winehouse was a drug addict who could sing.

                        Re: Amy Winehouse

There is a big difference why they were treated differently by here in OS and in the public. One no one really knew about Heath's issue and when he was in public, he was at most times professional other than him yelling at media at times. It didn't really come out too much until after his death. I've never seen him do interviews messed up or seen it hurt his performance on screen.

Amy on the other hand to me was not professional and I've seen videos of her taking bumps of coke right on stage and has times come to shows way ****ed up and could not perform properly for an audience that paid to see her. She made it public for sure that she was an addict, looked totally drugged out all the time in tabloids and to be honest, she portrayed to the public that doesn't give a ****.

Now do i know her and what she is going through? no absolutely not but as her as public figure I can comment what I see publicly especially if one to have bought her music and supported her in the past.

When Eminem was going through **** and it affected his product, his fans were on him.

Sure, but at the end of it all, they suffered the same fate...for the same reason...

that same reason that many feel is selfish, shows lack of self respect, etc. Whether it was public or not their addictions lead to their death...

difference is, one person played The Joker.

Yes, if you ignore all of the other differences between the two, the only difference that remains is that one played The Joker.

Again, you're ignoring the one difference that matters. The two have completely different personalities.

Nobody said Heath's drug use was okay.
