There are so many classic Spiderman villians from the comics and your idea is to bring in a guy that's actually a hero and likely has no reason to even fight Spiderman?

I don't see any point to have two heros go at it. Their are still so many spidy villains out their to fight first.

Well there was that cartoon awhile back, were they thought Spiderman was a bad guy. At least they thought he was, because the Wolverine was fighting Spiderman.

Yea, there has been (maybe have been) an encounter between the X-Men and Spiderman.

But, I'm pretty sure they ended up being good friends afterwards.

That's sort of anti-climatic if Wolverine fought Spiderman in a movie and at the end they end up being friends.

Now, if a good writer (has to be a hell of a good writer) could find a way to convince Marvel to produce an X-Men/Spiderman movie it could be a good idea to introduce it as a Spiderman vs. Wolverine conflict early in the film. Then it would obviously become a partnership with the entire X-Men team against a tag team of Bad Mutants and Dr. Octopus or something.

But I don't think it should be in Spiderman 4 or any individual Spiderman film.

I believe their was a little mini series with Logan and Spidey goin at it (late 80s early 90s). May have just been an issue but, I would rather see Venom or Carnage.

I will say, Venom, although not the badass he should of been, was done spot on in the looks department, I don't think they could have done a better job recreating him in a movie setting.

Why not just make it Spiderman vs Batman, at least that'd be interesting, Batman messing with Peter Parkers already overburdened mind. But in all seriousness, no to Wolverine or any other super hero\villain not directly tied to Spiderman, why you ask? Because it's lame.

Yeah I remember that, Spiderman vs Wolverine. It was actually a team up. They only fought for a couple of pages iirc, ended up fighting together.

Bad idea. Both are beloved by the subculture. Scorpion would be the better villian....possibly a contemporary Electro. Somehow a lighting bolt star mask wouldn't cut it!
