    Really stupid computer question

I know I am about to ask a stupid question, but I can't figure it out. How can I stop the Windows updates from wanting to restart my computer every 10 minutes. I am in class (no I shouldn't be posting in class, I know) and it's driving me nuts and I can't take the time to restart.

First off.. you should always turn off Windows Updates. Those updates do nothing but kill your system. Prolly more than half of those updates aren't even tested, so they just roll it out making you think it's good for your computer. Until you hear that there is a critical update out that is needed for your computer, leave Auto Updates OFF.

And heres how to do it..

Go to Start > Control Panel > Security Center

On the bottom of the new window that opens up, under "Manage Security Settings" click on Auto Updates.

Click on "Turn Off Auto Updates"

      Click OK and your set.
