This series is horrendous. They've made so many it's just become a disgrace.

Or tons of crap blowing up for no good reason.

Hopefully this is more like the TCM remake, and not the sequel to the TCM remake (which is up there in my top 10 worst horror films ever).

I thought that was a prequel?

As far as a Friday The 13th remake goes, I merely laugh. I've always favored the A Nightmare On Elm Street series over all of those movies. More inventive, better plot, and better villain.

Prequel, sequel, it was the same movie, just with worse actors and a terribly acted movie.

It was the prequel I think. Only thing I remotely liked was seeing how the sheriff became the sheriff.

It was a prequel to the TCM remake. I thought it was pretty good and enjoyed it, but I can see where people may not like it on the flip side. I really hope that one day Platinum Dunes take the task to remake TCM 2...........the original TCM 2 was the biggest piece of **** of a horror movie ever released. If they could do a remake that would replace that abomination I would be happy. Even better, TCM: Next Gen sucked just as bad if not worse........which might even beat TCM2 as one of the worst horror movies.

Halloween was always my favorite horror slasher franchise, with Friday the 13th after it, followed by Nightmare franchise, and toss in Hellraiser if you can even count that as slasher horror.
