I loved both shows and it was a kick in balls to have both canceled on me. You can throw Carnivale on that list too.

I have high hopes for Game of Thrones though. I think its pretty much guaranteed one full season and I dont think getting to A Storm of Swords is out of the question at all.

Rome is one of the best series ive seen on TV. It sucks that it was canceled, but I guess it was too expensive to produce. It's certainly better than any series on TV now though, including Dexter.

Rome was fantastic. Watch without hesitation. It's a shame the way it wrapped up, but the first season and a half are more than worth it.

Loved it, especially as a history major focusing in the ancient Mediterranean. Maybe not always historically accurate (but does an extremely good job for the most part), but the characters were all pretty well done. First season is by far superior, and it is true that the second season is kind of chaotic at the end. Overall, if anybody is on the fence, watch it, you shouldn't be disappointed.
