Jimmy Eat World - Chase This Light

The new CD from Jimmy Eat World comes out tomorrow, and it is their first full-length in about three years. Anyone else getting it?

I bought their last CD, Futures, and thought it was pretty good. I can't say their lyrics are horrible, but there is something about them that seems a little too simple. I do like their melodies and their guitar though. I may pick it up eventually. I really did like Bleed American. I still listen to it somewhat regularly.

After listening to the CD once through...

I'd put it probably as my #2 CD behind Bleed America. It's a nice album.

After a few more listen throughs...I'd give a nice thumbs up to the CD, honestly. It's obviously not the best (but I didn't expect it to be better than Bleed America) but it is a nice listen and I haven't found myself skipping songs.

i love this CD...its really catchy and upbeat to listen to. however, their powerful songs like Polaris and 23 from Futures cannot be beat...

I'm really enjoying the CD so far. My favorite song is probably "Let it Happen".
