The funny thing is that all those movies you just mentioned are about alien invasions...Are you disappointed with the endings due to bad writing or are your standards for alien invasion movies too high?...Think about it.

The first 5 minutes were some of the best 5 beginning minutes of a movie ever. Then *spoilers*





the whole bacteria killing the aliens ruined it. Probably would of been just as cheesy, but they should of found a way for Tom Cruise to find a way to kill them and then gets word around to the army. Even if it's different then the book.

Not potentially, but truly a great movie: Good Fellas. Hated the ending with Ray Liotta in a robe. Something about that never sat well w/ me.

I thought Signs was a great ending..... the symbolism fit perfect and tied together the entire meaning (great transition panning around the room demonstrating the passage of time and his decision to reconsider his faith).

Question about that movie, how did the son end up surviving?

That was one of the reasons I hated that movie, everything was way too convenient. His son runs into a damn explosion and somehow he ends up in Boston or wherever Tom Cruise told that girl he was.
