    Two Monitor Setup

Because of the kind of desk I have, my old tube monitor is on my left and my LCD monitor on the right (well, centre as it's right in front of me).

Anyways, what I want to do is use the left for games and the LCD for web/msn, etc. BUT I cant get FM 08 open on the left screen (the start menu is on the LCD btw).

Anyone know how I can make it that certain programs open on one and not the other? Thanks.

      Re: Two Monitor Setup

I used to have that problem when I played MVP 05 on the PC. The game would only open on whichever monitor I set as my primary monitor (right-click the desktop, then settings). So everytime I would play that game, I would make that setting and it would open good.

yep that is what happens, you may try to get a program from your video card company which will allow for a lot more control over the sharing of screens

          Re: Two Monitor Setup

as aukevin said, most games will use the monitor that is set as the primary display. Depending on the video card software you have, you may be able to switch which one is primary depending on which one you want.

I use synergy because I have a mac and a pc next to each other at work, and that program allows one keyboard and mouse to control both computers.

Of course, I'm using two computers. You are just using two screens with one computer.

I just have it so my desktop is extended and I can drag the window of either application back and forth between monitors at my leisure.
