    Hellraiser Remake

    Hellraiser Remake

The remake to end all remakes? That's sort of how I feel about Dimension's Helraiser, which will be helmed by French geniuses Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury (Inside). Funny enough, today Playboy landed an interview with our ex-Pinhead, Doug Bradley, who chatted about remakes and his hopeful involvement in the remake.

"I have no idea whether anybody intends I will be involved in it, but I will do it again like a shot," he continues, "If it involved taking different beats with Pinhead, that would also be fine by me. I think there are lots of areas that we never looked and never went to. History is not on my side with remakes that don't intend to use original cast. You know, if it's going to happen, it's going to happen — and I wish it absolutely nothing but good, if I'm involved or not."

Yet another remake which I had heard of a long time ago, but nothing had been confirmed at the time. Please, I hope they bring back Doug Bradley as "Pinhead".........it's like this guy defined this role.

Yes, this is getting to be ridiculous if you ask me with these remakes. One thing, if Doug Bradley isn't in this movie, that will be a shame.

As ridiculous as it is, I don't really mind. On a conceptual level, it seems cheap and lazy to do this so often, but in reality, I have a strong desire to see remakes for these classic movies (even if they are likely to suck). To tell you the truth, I'd rather go in and see remakes of NOES, Hellraiser, Halloween, and Friday the 13th, than some of the crap PG-13 horror that was the trend a couple years ago. I think most horror fans are the same way, they just don't want to admit it .

There's 8. The first two were the good ones, if you're gonna like them at all. Third was pretty cool, but not nearly as good. Went downhill after that once they did the horror kiss of death by letting Pinhead go to space.

I'd just like to take this time to say Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 was and still is probably one of the most disgusting, bloodiest movies I've ever seen.

I wil agree with you, Hellraiser 1 and 2 are horror masterpieces and some of the most enjoyable horror. HIII added to the legacy and we learned more about Pinhead. H:Bloodlines was ok, but the space deal was just stupid imo. H:Inferno had a good story, but we don't see Pinhead till the final 5 minutes of the movie. Now the rest after that, were abortions.
