Didn't see any threads on this movie, but thought I would give my impressions.
It's a musical and if you're a Beatles fan, you will probably like it (unless you don't like when other people sing Beatles songs). I'm a Beatles fan mainly because my wife is, but I enjoyed the movie. The story is a little predictable (my wife said it was very similar to that miniseries "The 60's"), but the songs and the choreography were really good. I wouldn't be surprised if this was made into a Broadway musical as it would make a pretty easy transition to the stage.
There are two characters who represent Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin and they were probably my favorite part of the movie. Especially, the actress who played the Janis-like character. She sounded a lot like Janis.
If you're a big Beatles fan, interested in the 60's or you like musicals, I would see this movie in the theater. Otherwise, you could probably hold off until the DVD is released.
