If Cherry Hill doesn't gain any traction, Molly would continue on as a Prison Break character, perhaps as a love interest for Michael (meaning, she shouldn't invest in any necklaces).

Ready For Female Prison Break?
If not, you'd better start getting ready.
Paris Hilton, call your agent. Fox has ordered a script for a distaff Prison Break called Prison Break: Cherry Hill (yes, really). Penned by PB exec producers Matt Olmstead and Zac Estrin, the spin-off would focus on Molly, an as-yet-uncast character to be introduced this season on the mother ship. According to the Reporter, having suffered a family tragedy at the hands of The Company, upper-middle-class housewife Molly will seek out Michael at Sona for tips on exacting revenge. Ultimately, Molly is locked up for a life sentence only to learn that her "dead" loved ones are in fact alive. Cue escape plan. (The truly scary thing? One of her cell mates is nicknamed T-Bag.)

I think prison break is terrible to begin with, so there's no need to speak my mind. -
Re: Ready For Female Prison Break?
Horrible idea, wont last long though. I love how people feel the need to go into threads about shows they dont like, or in this case the same show with female leads instead of males, and then give their opinion on it, not sure what the point is.Comment

Re: Ready For Female Prison Break?
I happen to like Prison Break (though I think seasons 2 and 3 haven's been as good as the first), but this idea is just laughably bad. Especially the name of the show. Cherry Hill? Seriously?Comment

I wasnt actually making a reference to you when I posted that, maybe I should have quoted the post I was talking about, that would have cut out the confusion.Comment

Re: Ready For Female Prison Break?
Wow, totally awesome idea! /sarcasm
So, this gives away that they aren't getting out of Sona any time soon, since the actress hasn't even been cast yet. Kinda takes some of the point out of the next few episodes, doesn't it? I can't stand the Sona stuff anyway, so looks like I could be taking an extended vacation from this once good show.Comment

Re: Ready For Female Prison Break?
Hmm, I have heard about Molly before. But I heard that she was going to be introduced later in this season of Prison Break.
For her to have her own show is just ****ing ********.Comment

I agree, this is going to be stupid and I hope it doesn't ruin the main Prison Break show.Comment

Re: Ready For Female Prison Break?
Eh, I don't see the harm in it.
They introduce a female character to Prison Break and then figure they should have a spinoff to show how she escapes from prison.
I think that's the best of both worlds. For anyone interested in her background you can watch the new show. If you aren't, she won't interfere with the main show since they won't concentrate on her escape on it.
I don't think it's that bad of an idea."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

To each their own, but I think it is an incredibly asinine idea, and is just another example of how creatively bankrupt Hollywood is. Because Prison Break has been mildly successful they have to take the concept and run it completely into the ground. Is there really a need for another "break out of prison" show?Comment

Except that if the new show somehow doesn't make it to air, the new female character will be remaining a long term part of Prison Break.
