That's not a very super set IMO. Why is there a widescreen version of it? It wasn't shot in widescreen.

Amazon has it for $26.00 right now, it releases 12/18.

Still no Into the Woods on this......................you know their ready for another dipping down the road.

Not going to pick this up for more than 20 bucks then. Disc 1 or 2 would go unwatched and simply be useless.

Pick up the Elite Entertainment DVD if you want a copy of Evil Dead IMO. Its the version I have, I'm pretty sure it's the last, maybe only version, released in the correct aspect ratio. The movie was shot in 1.37:1, so there is no widescreen version of it, no matter what Anchor Bay/Starz puts out.

This ultimate edition isn't properly matted. AB/STARZ is starting to really piss me off with these poor releases, especially after the BluRay releases earlier in the month.

I forget which version I have, but it has a booklet about the Ladies of Evil Dead.

For those picking this up, Best Buy and a few other places are selling it for $16.99.
