I'm not talking about the argument, I'm talking about your style of debating with him, by attacking the cred. of the person questioning you, your argument becomes weaker, because you're not debating the point you're just trying to make the person you are debating look weaker.

And to answer your question, whom says it wasn't?

It's useless to argue this because neither side is wrong, there is no proof that anything exist beyond us, and until it has been proven differently it is the current stated fact. Is there life beyond us? Probably, but to think there is not is also wrong... So in the end, both sides are right. Happy now?

People have been going on and on that there is no proof that alien organisms exist. And without proof, they don't believe.

Well there was no proof of that pig species existing before the scientist(s) found it. Does that mean it didn't exist during the time period prior to discovery?

Just because no one has found it, doesn't mean it isn't out there. You can accept that there might be other life on our own planet(unidentified species that we haven't seen(ocean life, the pig)), but you can't accept that there might be species outside of our own planet?

No, I just meant that the analogy was sort of off with what you're comparing to. I'm not doubting that there are life forms outside of this planet (and I know you weren't referring to me), but the fact that we discovered a new kind of pig on our planet doesn't really give the notion that there must be life form not on our planet. It's like you're saying it must be day time because you're awake.


Again, I don't doubt that there are species outside of this planet (or on this planet that we have yet to discover)... it was just a strange basis for your point.

As long as our government keeps things hidden from the general public, none of us will ever truly know what is out there. They have tools and means that normal people will never have. Not to mention those that have the money to research and do things on their own are watched by our government as well.

If there's other life out there the general public will never know.

Most Presidents don't even know the finer details of what our government does on it's own. Military outings in other countires that are part of the Pheniox Project... What work is truly being done in Area 51. Etc.

It's impossible to have an argument on this.

There's no clear evidence of which side is right.
