    Wow...that's a great deal.
I paid immensely more than that for my set.
To anyone who hasn't seen the X-Files...the first several seasons are really a good watch. This is a good chance to get it for basically nothing.

Definitely. I picked up all 9 seasons for just under $180 shipped. You can't beat that.

          Re: X-Files 2

Saw the movie today...and it's really good.

Not really a typical movie...more like an extended episode akin to one of the really good first few season episodes.

          Billy Connelly is excellent.

          Some genuinely creepy moments...

And one REALLY funny moment...watch when Mulder and Scully first go back to the FBI building / the theme music plays at a certain point.

          Well worth seeing IMO.

Would I enjoy this not having watched the series?

I was never a die hard fan but enjoyed the show(still haven't seen a all of the episodes). With that said the movie was quite the let down. It was a "B" episode of the series at best.

I saw it at midnight Thursday and "I Want To Believe" the flim was better...but its not.

That's a very good question. I know Chris Carter was trying to make it so that if you haven't seen an episode of the series, you could still get into the movie and enjoy it. Be interesting to hear people's opinions on that.

I happened to see this today and thought it was good. Seemed like a long episode of the X-Files. The story was twisted and I liked it. I agree Court_vision, Billy Connelly did a great job. So used to seeing him in comedy roles in the past.

Yeah, I saw that and didn't laugh. Others in the theater did but I didn't find it funny. Just took it as someone taking yet another shot at the guy. It didn't need to be in there.

                    Re: X-Files 2

Saw the movie this evening, never really got into the X-Files. I found the movie sort of predictable. Nothing in it really wowed me, but it did have some rather interesting moments. I went in expecting some sort of sc-fi alien conspiracy but got something a little more realistic and tamed.

I was very suprised that the movie got no Marketing at all, i had no clue it was even out until i saw a review for it.

It sort of creeps you out a bit, because i actually read an article of "the event" that happened in the movie, crazy what people do i real life.
