I wanted to get that laptop, but may have to wait 'till Black Friday to see any good deals on laptops.

CJ, if you have a ebay account, there are some nice factory sealed Gateway laptops that I was looking at about a month ago going for about $380-$399. They have the AMD X2 processor + 1GB ram + Vista.

I was able to grab one of these today as well... oddly, the Walmart near my house actually opened at 7am today. Luckily I got there at 7:45 and was able to get one with no hassle. They had everything for sale as well, although the 50'' plasmas were going fast.

For those who were wondering, it did NOT come with either an HDMI or component cable... just the standard analog. Luckily I have some extra sets of component cables for now, although i'm planning on ordering an HDMI cable. Just watching some standard DVD's now and they look great!

If this deal for the 5 free movies is still legit, then this is an absolute STEAL!!! Thanks again guys!

anyone know the trade in value of a 360 hd dvd drive at gamestop...tempted to get the toshiba just in case the elite ever craps out on me..and use the credit towards cod4

but knowing gamestop id only get 40 bucks

I went up at 9am and my Walmart (small town mind you) had a whole pallet full of them. Can't beat this deal with a stick. Where is the best place to get a good HDMI cable cheap? I didn't really feel like paying $35 for one at Walmart. I think someone mentioned ehdmi.com. Is this still the best place? Also, if you have HDMI, how exactly does that hook into my 5.1 system? I thought audio was included in HDMI. Would I then need to hook from my tv to the surround sound, and if so, with what? Or, can I use the HDMI for the video and still do digital optical from the player to the surround sound? Not sure what will give me the best sound. Thanks

If you have a HDMI receiver, HDMI is the best sound, otherwise use HDMI for video and optical for sound.
