Re: Brian Williams to host SNL tonight
SNL: A bunch of people who think they're funny, but not really
Brian Williams: I don't watch this guy on Nightly News, but I'm assuming he's a serious "down to business" reporter who might have more funny than the entire SNL cast.
I'll check it out tonight.Comment

More like it still cool to not like bad comedy. Weekend update is still pretty funny and the pre-recorded skits are funny more often than not. The live skits are downright terrible and very painful to watch.Comment

I think Andy Samberg and Fred Armisen is pretty much all they got going for themComment

Re: Brian Williams to host SNL tonight
I finally watched this episode and it was by far the best of the season. I would probably place it in the top 10 for the past 2 or 3 seasons.
With a show like SNL you never know who will be a good host. I thought Bobby DeNiro would be an excellent host but both of the times he hosted, the show was a complete dud. He couldn't stop staring at the cards.
I guess Williams is use to looking at his lines, so he was a lot more natural in front of the camera. The digital short really cracked me up.Comment

I think he truly has a talent with comedy, especially evident when trying to watch weekend update...
