Cancelled shows with potential?

what do you think is the next show to make a miraculous comeback like Family Guy? or that you think got cancelled before its prime?

Futurama but it's coming back. Most people are going to say Arrested Developement or Firefly. Other than Futurama though there haven't been any shows that I've been a fan of that got cancelled too soon, at least none that I can remember.

my 2 would be Firefly and Sports Night...I know Arrested Development is supposed to be funny, but I missed the first year-ish, so was tough to get into (not getting the inside jokes, etc). I should check it out on DVD sometime.

Wasnt Arrested Development the show written by Seth McFarlane that had Family Guy- like cutscenes?

No. Arrested Development was a show that (to me) is the funniest show of all-time. Seriously. It was on Fox. The humor goes a lot of people's heads but it's one of those shows that you have watch from the very first episode to get all the humor and jokes.

Off the top of my head:

Arrested Development (Fox)
Dead Like Me (Showtime)
What About Brian? (ABC)
Six Degrees (ABC)
Convicted (NBC)
The Class (CBS)

There's plenty more I'm sure.

Dead Like Me was another stellar show...I wish they didn't cancel that too

I f'n loooved that show. One of my favorite shows of all-time. I have both sets on DVD. They are making a movie that is going to go straight to DVD, though. I'm leery of it.

I knew I forgot something. Yeah it's probably never coming back even though HBO would be perfect for it. Of course with the hissy fit the NFL had with ESPN they'll probably tell them that they couldn't show Inside the NFL if they had a playmakers-like show.
