Problem is, I never use my thumb. I never took lessons from anyone and picked up guitar myself, so when I see people pick with their thumb, I ask, "How do you do that? It's so much easier not to." I still say it's easier not to, but maybe you get to do more things if you use your thumb, I'm not sure.

You have a good voice, BTW.

using your thumb is essential to getting a good thud on the bass. I honestly didn't even notice it on your video tbh, lol.

And thank you. My voice is ever changing. I'm still not back at full force since my sinus infection. My voice has dropped almost 7-8 semitones on where it sits in the past two years since I started singing. I'm finally finding my voice. Now I just gotta get control over my head voice.

Thought I'd post my most recent video (and I'm uploading a retake of that 3 Doors Down cover). Now that I'm back in my dorm, I can re-arrange things the way I need them to, plus I have my own guitar and now I have the external mic so things sound better. Sorry for the weird mess-ups, I did these in one take each.
