Getting Paid To Take Surveys Online?

So I signed up for Greenfield Online, which is a large (I think the biggest) online survey company that is used for market research, etc. Some surveys offer paid incentives to complete them, but they're extremely rare. Normally, they just enter you into a weekly prize drawing for doing the surveys.

Anyway, has anyone had any luck making extra money by doing anything like this? It seems from Greenfield's website that they made some recent changes to their site/format and it seems like it basically eliminated cash rewards for the majority of the surveys, so maybe I joined up with the wrong one. Has anyone heard of another reputable company that will pay for surveys?

I'm mostly just looking for some extra money because I'm in the process of buying a house. I spend too much time on the 'net anyways, so I figured I might as well make some money while I do it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

In-person focus groups are probably the best way to actually make decent money (since they pay you for a few hours of your time), but I haven't found anything like that around here. So if anyone knows of a large company/search engine or something similar for focus groups in major cities (I'm in Denver), I'd appreciate that info as well.

Well I know that companies do indeed pay for market research conducted online, so the overall industry isn't in question -- it's more a matter of which companies actually offer cash rewards as opposed to sweepstakes entry or other things. Some places send you products to try and then give feedback on, etc. -- the perk with those is generally the free products rather than cash, but it's the same idea.
