I like them too. And no... not all of their songs sound the same (not directed toward anyone specific, but just in general).

I haven't seen the music video, but I'll check it out. I know that Chad Kroeger can lighten up with his voice on softer songs, though... he just doesn't want to do it (like Far Away). It would make those songs so much better.

Rockstar and Animals are great songs, though!

Nickelback isn't a bad band, radio just ruins them though. They pound them into your ears until you hate every song. I guess thats why I rarely listen tothe radio.

I liked Nickelback for about 5 seconds when they first came out.

Then, I heard each of their songs repeatedly on the radio, and found out that yes, all of their songs do in fact sound the same. They are geared to be completely radio friendly, that's it. And it works, because for some reason, people still listen to them.

A horrible band. Nickelback's ONLY redeeming quality was a killer cover of Elton John's "Saturday Night's All Right for Fighting" that "Hockey Night in Canada" uses for its opener.

I'd rather hear 50 sets of fingernails on a blackboard scratching with 38 chainsaws running simultaneously over the din of yelping coyotes than listen to Chad Kroger sing.
