Does this commerical go too far?

Warning: If you get queasy looking at blood, you've been warned.

This is for a project, I'm just wondering if you think that this is effective, or if its a bit gross. Probably a bit of both.

        I liked it.

It didn't look too "graphic" to me, and it definitely got the point across.

Well, the first time I watched it, I kinda thought "well that's a bit too much". But then I just laughed the second time.

Re: Does this commerical go too far?

                I think that's effective. I don't see how it's funny.

Perhaps a bit too effective for national television. I don't know where I'd see something like that air. Maybe overseas.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

It airs in Canada for the WSIB (Workers Safety Insurance Board).

Also I may as well throw my personal opinion, which is the first time I watched it I thought "Damn that's a bit too much for TV." Then the second time I thought "Meh it proves a good point," and the third time I laughed a little. Which, not suprisingly, are the three opinions that everyone will likely express.

                          I don't like the commercial.

                          I think it is sexist.

Oh, so a woman has to be in the kitchen? The only thing that women can do is make children, work in the kitchen and be burnt by grease?

If you work in a kitchen that serves fried food, likely every day that you work.

For some reason, I can't picture The Soldier working in a kitchen.
