I've got 2, a 30'' Samsung Slimfit in the bedroom, and a 50'' Samsung 1080p DLP in the living room. It'll be awhile before I decide to buy another..I hope.

I've got 1....a 46" Toshiba DLP in the living room. I'm looking to add a 32" LCD in the bedroom in the near future if I can find a good price. I missed out on the Olevia yesterday at K-Mart.

Yep, have two. There's no other way to watch sports or play 360 IMO.

You need to buy an HDTV before getting yet another next-gen system, that makes zero sense.

Unless he wants a PS3 and doesn't mind playing games on a SDTV. Then in makes plenty of sense.

It's like buying a Ferrari and driving it in 25 mph zones all day, then going and buying a Testarossa to drive on the country roads too.....if that floats your boat, makes no sense to me at all though....

I've got a 32 inch Samsung HDTV in my bedroom at my apt. My parents have a 50 inch Sony in the living room at home and then another HDTV in their bedroom. I think its an LG. But not sure.

Got a 20" screen strictly for my 360 playing and the pops has a 64" Samsung that he won't let me touch.

I don't think they are this phenomenal, facisnating thing.....but if you're going to purchase a TV, I have no clue why you wouldn't spend a few extra bucks to get one.

Dang man, they are not that expensive anymore unless you're dirt poor. I got a 30" Samsung HDTV a couple years ago for $700 and I think that model now is about $400. And you can find decent HDTV's for around $300 if you look hard enough. Sure it's not pocket change but I wouldn't call it expensive either for a TV.

As for me I have two, a 30" Samsung HDTV that I mention above and a 50" Samsung HDTV rear projection.

When I was making 40 grand a year, a 700 dollar TV was considered expensive. 40 grand isnt dirt poor.

Determines where you live and how much family you have. I make a little less than 40 thousand a year, but I do not have a family yet so I live very comfortably while having the ability to have a healthy 401 K and plenty in my bank account.
