The Fast and the Furious 4

    http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1108372-fast_and_the_furious/news/1676838/

Say what you want, but as long as there is enough viable reason for the characters in this movie to come back for more (as long as the actors as well), there's no reason for this series to stop. Good mindless action and sexy cars, always mixed in with some beautiful woman. Plus the fact that it will revert back to the original in a way, with Paul Walker and Vin Diesel returning.

I had already owned Tokyo Drift, and to complete the series, I bought the other two today for just $4 total. It gives enough replay value, and I don't mind movies like this at all. They are never the best movies (in all, they're not all that good when you put them up to a tomatometer and consider plot and acting), but much like Jurassic Park and Final Destination... as long as there is enough substance remaining in the series to deem a sequel, there's no reason they should stop. If the trailers look good, I'll be seeing this in theaters in two years.

I still hate my life for actually buying a ticket to see the drifting one. Will probably go down as one of the worst uses of money in my entire existence; which includes buying tickets to TWO Resident Evil movies. I should have my spending privileges severely restricted.

I'll probably wait until it's on DVD...but I'll definitely see it.

I thought Tokyo Drift was better than #2.

Heh, guess I missed it. This one can be locked or merged I guess.

I liked the first one for being the first one... having Walker and Diesel, along with following something that slightly resembled Gone In Sixty Seconds, even with the orange L.A. tone. I liked the second one for the feeling that it was more of a "mission". It made me feel like it was Grand Theft Auto at times, with the scenes with Verone and the Miami setting. I liked the third one for its CGI improvements, its drawing away from cops for once (not saying it's bad, but just seeing what the movie can do without police involvement was nice) and the sick-*** Japanese cars.

They all have their ups and downs. I'm not sure which one is my favorite, but I'm glad I own the series. Again... replay value is high.

Re: The Fast and the Furious 4

3 in my mind was the best because they had the best cars. i can't believe they put an Eclipse as a featured car in part 2. That was the worst car ever. I don't mind if the movie is good or not but the action is great. I'm into the import car scene, so its always fun to see sick cars in use.

The driving in 3 was awesome, and they used some of the best drifters in the world to do the stunts and some of the actors learned to drift and they didn't resort to any CG for the effects, all driving.
