    Trains Collide In Chicago

    150 people are on board and it's on Chicago south side right around 47th and Sheids or Sheils (not sure)in Canaryville. There seems to be a lot of walking wounded but there are some hurt badly.

              From what I'm hearing the Amtrak hit the freight train that for whatever reason was parked on those tracks. That's why the amtrak is basically on top of the freight train.

                      Thats really scary. Now I'm really nervous about taking the Amtrak up to Portland next Thursday.

                              The first thing i thought when I heard this was that it was a CTA train. Now that could have been very devastating considering that most of those trains are 30-40 feet in the air. Glad to see thats not the case though.
