My uncle, to whom I was VERY close, died suddenly last Friday. He was my father's only sibling and my father's best friend. The guy was the life of every party, a 1,000-megawatt force of nature.

So it was a very rough weekend. I must admit that Monday night, after serving as a pallbearer and lector at his funeral that day, I came to this thread. Rick cheered me up a bit.

Plus we had a family gathering Sunday night after the wake, and I forgot my coat as I left. I re-entered my cousin's house, and he said, "Hey, you can't leave me, huh?" I looked at him and sang, "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and hurt you ... " He laughed heartily, which was what he needed since his dad had just passed.

The Rick Roll is the gift that keeps on giving. NEVER GONNA GIVE, NEVER GONNA GIVE ...

I'm watching the first season of "Doctor Who" (a BBC show)...they went back to the late 80's and had the radio on...I got Rick Rolled by a TV show ! They were playing Rick Astley! It was awesome!

I was feeling kinda blue last night, so I was surfing through the music channels and it so happens that I flip the channel and get rick roll'd. It got my out of my bad mood because I never thought I would be rick roll'd on TV. Thank your Rick Roll.
