Thank God...most of the half time shows have been complete and utter garbage that is more about the flashy lights and fireworks than the actual music.

can you imagine everyone in the stadium just breakin out with that dance. I was coming out of the Nike store at the mall the other day and that song was playing and kids of all races just stopped what they were doing and started doing the Soulja Boy. I cracked the hell up.

Music is very subjective, but Prince is more talented than Petty, not just on the guitar. He can play every musical instrument, drums, keyboards, bass, etc.....

I love Petty's music as well, but subjectively speaking, I'll take Prince's overall talent vs Petty's overall talent.

Great choice, but he'll be hard-pressed to top Prince from last year. That was the Super Bowl halftime show to end all Super Bowl halftime shows.
