    Remembering John Lennon

It's the 27th anniversary since his passing. I wish he was still here making great music.

Check out this video of John & Yoko and Yoko's letter to John:

I can only imagine what he would think about the war in the Middle East. Not sure if there will ever be peace over there.

He's a legend, no doubt about it. It's just too bad that he was taken away so young.

I didn't know it was that long........ The man was a musical genius. Just last Wednesday my wife and I went to Branson,MO and saw a cover band of the Beatles called "The Liverpool Legends". The guy that played John Lennon was so much like him, vocally and looks wise-it was amazing. Even though I was born in 1961-that was as close as I'll ever get to seeing John.

He's not exactly my type of music but he was a true genius. I have the CD release of Imagine and it's one of the best albums i've ever heard. Can't believe it's been that long.

I'm sure he'd be one of the most vocal celebrities against the Iraq war.

Each year, the 8th of December is always personally a difficult day, as John is one of my idols, and easily my favorite musician ever. It's such a damn shame that his life was senselessly lost, because there will never be anybody quite like John Lennon.

I always felt he was the more talented one about of him and Paul. Wow 27 years ago.

As what? A musician? No way, not even close. As a songwriter? Very debatable. As a humanitarian? Yes, but McCartney is no slouch there, either. Not sure why they are always being pitted against one another. Two great talents that formed the greatest songwriting team in popular music history. Wish people would just Let It Be.

Mostly writing music. I am not knocking Paul I just think John was better, especially after they spent.
