I don't know why I never listened to it. I loved Food and Liquor.

Same here. I just noticed that I've only heard the song "Superstar" from this album. I'll have to listen to this album soon.

Any idea the reason behind that? Seems like he's really starting to hit his peak and his popularity is on the rise. Seems a shame if he's going to quit it all after just one more album....

He probably doesn't want to risk getting so big that he has to compromise his lyrics. i.e. 'dumb it down'

Loved this album. One of the few rap albums I enjoy as much as I like rock and metal.

"Hip-Hop Saved My Life," "Little Weapon," "Intruder Alert," "Fighters," are probably my favorite four...with "Superstar," "Hi-Definition," and "Gold Watch" coming in behind them.

I got a cd he did live at the House of Blues in Chicago. It's pretty old(got in early 08)but it has songs from this album and Food and Liquor. If I can, i'll upload it on here for anybody that wants it.

sounds awesome, i've got nearly every track Lupe has ever released on my ipod and own F & L and The Cool, can't get enough of Lupe's work.

yea people sleep on Lupe all the time unfortunately. I heard a snippet from his new single off of "We Are Lasers" and it sounds pretty tight. im sure lupe will bring it lyrically as always.

Agreed with all of that. I saw him in concert about a month and a half ago, he came down to VT and performed. I was about 10 rows back, it was amazing. So much energy.

I also love this album, I can listen to every track all the way through without skipping. It's just straight up, good chill music. The hooks are smooth, the beats are smooth. And there's even concepts behind most of the songs, so if you feel like being analytical, it's all there. But if you just want something to kick back and listen to, this album does that too.
