The tiger was killed by the police. I hate stories like this. It's always the animal (that was just being a wild animal) that end up being punished by death when some idiot does something stupid.

This is America. Can't nobody run around eating people for making fun of him. Why the Hell should a ******* tiger get that right? You eat two people and threaten the police, you're going to get shot. If the stupid tiger didn't want to get shot, he should have kept his mouth to himself.

I dont care if they TAUNT him or not, he SHOULD never have gotten OUT, plain and simple.

and whats considered taunting really? A simple wave to family can seen as taunting.. Bottom line, he shouldnt have gotten out

The guy dangled his leg in the cage. Yes there should be better protection but you can't protect against stupidity unless, like Double Eights said, they make people take IQ tests before going inside.

There is a reason as to why the tigers have never attacked anybody before this incident. Before this incident, the wall was still the same height (4 feet lower than zoo policy) God knows how long that wall has been there to seperate nature from humans.

The reason why the tiger finally jumped the wall? He saw live meat dangling in front of him. Lets say you've been put on a very strict diet of potatoes and a strip of bacon for as long as you remember. You see a hot juicy steak laying on the side of the road one night.. Would you not be tempted to eat it? I would.

Plain and simple.. its a wild animal.

1. You can't keep it contained in a small cage, thinking it will never lose its interest beyond its cage.

2. This is what animals do. They hunt with their natural insticts. They saw a leg dangling, and they pounced.

Those idiots that were drunk and stoned deserved what they got. Would you ever do this if you were on a jungle safari in Africa? No. So why do it just because you see an animal behind a cage?

Actually, this tiger did have a previous kill (maybe it was a maiming).
