Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles

I suppose I'm not too embarrassed about it, but one night on the way to the beach I was in my Civic with two guys and two girls, my iPod and FM transmitter, and we were listening to my songs on shuffle, singing along to anything we knew, which was all great music in our opinion.

After a Theory of a Deadman song just finished off loud and strong, the piano for this song comes up, and all of the sudden I got really hot and wanted to cover it up somehow. Too late.

Re: Songs You're Embarrassed to Have

I'm not really embarrassed by any of the music that I have but there are some artists/songs that really get me some funny looks whenever my brother or buddies are around and they are playing. I have a wide selection of music that I listen to including hip hop, rock, classic rock, pop and so on, but I would have to say that Disco & and just about anything from the 80s are definitely 2 of my favorite genres.

With that being said below are some of the ones that get me the most looks or made fun of the most:

Boogie Oogie Oogie - A Taste of Honey
More Than a Woman - Bee Gees
                        Stayin' Alive - Bee Gees
                        Holiday - Madonna
Love is a Battlefield - Pat Benatar
                        Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield
                        Disco Inferno - The Trammps
Ride Like the Wind - Christopher Cross
                        Hot Stuff - Donna Summer
                        Maggie May - Rod Stewart
Edge of Seventeen - Stevie Nicks
I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor
Don't Stop Till You Get Enough - Michael Jackson
You Should Be Dancing - Bee Gees
Out of Touch - Hall & Oates
Adult Education - Hall & Oates
                        I Ran - A Flock of Seagulls
Cruel Summer - Bananarama (Thanks to The Karate Kid movie, one of my favorities...LOL)

                        Just to name a few.......LOL
