    NTFS vs. FAT32

I have an old internal hard drive that I just bought an enclosure for. I want to format it so that I can use it to pull things off my laptop hard drive and have it as a portable hard drive. I will be using it with my new computer which will have Vista 64-bit on it. When I format the hard drive which format am I better off using.....NTFS or FAT32?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the information. Based on that sounds like NTFS is the way to go.
