Grizzly Man
Did anybody watch this over the weekend? My fiance and I love Animal Planet, and they pimped the hell out of this show, and since we knew the guy dies we wanted to see if they would show it, and how it happened. Didn't show it, because they had the lens over the camera, but had audio. However, they chose not to play it, because it was too graphic. After watching all 3 hours of the documentary I don't care what Tim Treadwell's friends say he was nuts!!!!! Lied about having a mom and dad, lied about being from Australia, yelling at God because he didn't send rain for his "bears" so they could eat, constantly telling Grizzly Bears to go the f away then yell but I LOVE YOU!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!, and just swearing at the Parks service/"protecting" bears in a bear sanctuary from "poachers"/just hating living in the real world instead of being in the wild/wishing he was a bear instead of a human.......President of the Devils Den

Re: Grizzly Man
Yeah I saw it a few months back, and no doubt the dude was a nut job...My fav part was after the bears had got done fighting, Tim went over to a huge pile of ****, and put his hands on it and said something to the effect, "it's still warm".Rather be dead than RED!

Re: Grizzly Man
He was out of his mind. But I wouldn't say he was nuts. He was just extremely infatuated with the lifestyle and wanted to learn about it as much as possible by immersing himself in it.
He just stepped over his boundaries and stuck around too long the time he was killed. That's not nuts. That's stupid."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Grizzly Man
And correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this guy even stated once that he auditioned for the role of "Woody" on "Cheers".Comment
