I heard about this and it seems amazing.

Makes me wonder if the movie future of 2015 isn't really that far off. Yea, we might not have flying cars and all that (I think flying cars is stupid anyway. Who would run such a travesty? Imagine the potential dangers and traffic issues) but when it comes to electronics, it's close.

This new television is interesting and it appears cheap to make which is always nice for consumers.

How big will they get? That looks like a simple monitor size. Of course, there's nothing next to it that I can compare it with.

I wonder if they'll make any as large as 60".
      Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60

Oh man, I hope my old tv holds out until these things come out. That looks amazing, LCD and Plasma would be like staring at a load of canine dung on your oil stained driveway compared to that!

Just tell them that the new XEL-1 from Sony costs about 200,000 Japanese yen, or about $1,750, for an 11-inch TV. They’ll be impressed

For a technology like this I don't think that's terrible at all. Consider the product hasn't even been developed to really hit the mass market yet.
