The Magic Bullet has always caught my eye

I got this for my birthday in August (I wanted one).

It's not quite as nifty as the commercial makes it seem...but it makes smoothies pretty damn well for me (all I wanted it for). It's not as good as a regular blender (gets kinda stuck on the fruit sometimes and I have to fiddle with it), but it's pretty good. Especially since it's more single serving, comes with a bunch of cups you can blend in. Just don't expect it to be quite like on TV, I'd never use it for 90% of that stuff.

I've seen the commercial for the PU-Pro and ignored it. I might have to consider it now.

Do you use it to get off dead skin only? After years of cleats and b-ball sneakers in organized sports, my feet have taken a beating.

You can only use it on dead skin. It's designed like a smooth cheese grater on the underside.

It looked really gross when they showed a person dumping out their dead skin on TV. With that said it probably is pretty useful!

I've been intrigued by the Tobi steamer, the joint where you can steam iron your clothes without having to use the ironing board.

May look into this PU-pro. I hate doing normal push-ups, so maybe that'd be a good thing for me.

I've been intrigued by the Tobi steamer, the joint where you can steam iron your clothes without having to use the ironing board.

I never heard of the Tobi, but I bought a little cheap steam iron in the mall and it works amazing. Last night I took a dress shirt out of my closet that was curled up in a ball for weeks. I hung it up and ironed out all of the wrinkles in 5 mins.

It works more than your chest and eases the strain on your wrists.

It works your arms, chest, shoulders, and back. I think it also says abs, but I've only felt the former.

i finally saw the commercial for the foot grater while laying in bed .... all i can say is that i had a hard time sleeping the rest of the night after seeing the shavings thrown in the trash can.

I once bought a Rocket Chef on an infomercial. It was something like the Magic Bullet. Worst.Purchase.Ever

That's why I've been very hesitant to pick up the Magic Bullet.

On the other hand, I've picked up Space Bags before and they work very well.

I think back when we got it at Target it was around that 50 range. I forget as it was a while back.

Makes awesome smoothies and shakes.

I'll add to the recommendations for the perfect pushup. If you follow the routine that comes with it, you'll see excellent results. I bought mine after a two year layoff from the gym, while waiting for construction to finish on the new gym near my house.

I followed the routine, basically every other night and gained alot of strength in 2 weeks time. Also, my pecs ballooned up nicely.

The routine is set up something with these variations: wide grip, close grip and normal. You can do these on flat ground or with your feet elevated on a chair (like doing inclines). Here's why I think it's better than regular pushups:
1) You can go 'deeper' into the pushup
2) Your wrists turn on the unit making wide and close grip pushups more comfortable
3) The workout routine is pretty high intensity. Your supposed to complete 3 sets in two minutes (gets real tough) and you add reps/sets as days go by.

I did stop using them when the gym opened, but for a good chest/tri workout at home, it's tough to beat. Despite the claim, they do nothing for your abs.

Hope this helps anyone on the fence.
