Saving emails?
I wonder if any of you guys have any idea how to save your inbox and outbox messages. I have hundreds of emails on my cpu and I want to be able to cut down on the paper usage. Is there a way to burn them on a disk or something so I'll always have them?Tags: None -
Re: Saving emails?
Why can't you just leave them in the system?
My yahoo email has thousands of saved messages. -
Re: Saving emails?
How do you check your e-mail? Are you talking about gmail, yahoo, or are you using Outlook Express or some other e-mail client? E-mail clients usually have ways to back up or save e-mails somewhere else (I think in Outlook you can just select them and paste them in a folder, they'll be in an e-mail format that text readers open). Not sure, I just move my inbox into a "OldMail" folder in my Outlook Express I'm onto OldMail5 right now and have all e-mails from the end of 2002 on lolNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

I'm not sure if Outlook Express allows it, but with the full Outlook, you can just drag and drop emails into a file location (it brings any attachments with it) and then just burn that folder to a disk. I stopped using PSTs a long time ago. All they do is slow down your email. Instead of an archive, I just drag and drop whatever email I want to keep to a folder.
