Re: One Missed Call-0% on Rotten Tomatoes

My brother sent me a text message that said this movie was "hilarious." I've got to see how bad this is.

Re: One Missed Call-0% on Rotten Tomatoes

They copied the movie from the Asian movie one missed call. They had 2 of them in China.

I wasn't expecting it to be good, as the Asian version was kinda whack, which amazed me they made a sequel in China.

American version is just horrible though! needs a -0.5. It sucked.

Looks like a cheap rip off of The Ring using a cell phone instead.

Don't forget the fact that The Ring was also good.

Too bad, I was looking for a record. Don't worry, The Haunting of Molly Hartley is giving it a run for its money at that 0% worst movie spot.

RT is great, because whoever was the ****in tard who gave that movie a good review will never be respected by me, or probably anyone... ever... again.

You might want to look up the use of facts. They tend to be true.

I don't know how this happened, but somehow it's back down to zero percent.

Are there often more reviews by the DVD release, or does it all die down pretty much after opening week? I want to see this movie crash and burn to the ground!
It's now at 0-72. You wouldn't know it by the synopsis-here's the end of it.
"A slow burning ghost tale, ONE MISSED CALL establishes a mood of creepiness before the opening credits and sustains it right through to the conclusion. Instead of major shocks or gore, we're given subtle glimpses of ghostly figures or slightly distorted faces that are effective in creating unease. Sossamon makes a pleasing heroine, and the always excellent Wise makes the most of his small role. Almost old-fashioned in its restraint, the film is a good candidate for family viewing--and spooky enough to give all but the most jaded horror fan goose bumps."

At least it has a nonzero percentage on the Tomatometer.

This is the worst movie ever

The baseball portion is by far the worst sports acting I've ever seen in my life. Also the field conditions were not even feasible.

Two surprises here with Best Pictures I never saw. My impression was that Out Of Africa was widely critically acclaimed and Amadeus was not. I might have to check out Amadeus.
