So not cool---HD HELP???
Candyman and everyone else.....I hooked up my HD-dvd player last night as some of you may know and it worked fine last night. Well, now it doesnt anymore, yet when I bring it into my bedroom on a much smaller TV, it works perfectly fine. So, I changed the HDMi cables multiple times and to no avail. I would get the Toshiba, loading and the hd-dvd logo on the screen but then no picture or audio. Isnt that Strange?

Re: So not cool---HD HELP???
It could be the player is SWITCHING from HDMI. I believe you should have an option on your PLAYER remote called V OUTPUT. Check the front of the player & make sure when the problem happens the player has HDMI displaying on the front. If not hit the V Output on the PLAYER remote until you see No Disc on your screen -
Re: So not cool---HD HELP???
Nomah, plug everything & fire the player up. If the problem happens again, directly unplug the cable from the back of the player(not the outlet). Allow for a minute or 2. This let's the player reset itself. Plug the cable back into the player & see what happensComment

Re: So not cool---HD HELP???
I did that bigfjoe and it gives me the option to setup the time and date, etc. Then it shows the little circle in the corner loading and the hd-dvd logo on the bottom. Then the screen is all black and the counter plays. I simply can't comprehend this at all.Comment

Re: So not cool---HD HELP???
As soon as you fire up the HD-DVD player, click on the setup button and take a look at your video settings. Something might be screwed up in there. See if you can get the setup button to work.Comment
