Re: High-school teacher spreads the word on climate change
Did you even watch the videos? I will never understand why people will get so angry with a guy disagreeing with what they believe in. He didn't say that everyone was stupid if they didn't believe in climate change, he politely made his argument along with answers to rebuttals.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: High-school teacher spreads the word on climate change
The second one isn't available anymore. The first one is fine....... if you're okay with all of the blanket assumptions he made when describing a particular cell. I feel I've just been "video-spammed". Since he talks about bringing on an influence to make policy changes, and that involves dealing with political figures/offices, and talking politics is against OS policy, I say close the thread 'cause it's just gonna get ugly.Comment

Re: High-school teacher spreads the word on climate change
what's the old saying..
paraphrasing-
"those who would trade their freedom for security, deserve neither."
it is seductive to people because it makes you think you are saving the planet, but
in the 2 videos i saw , he doesnt address the loss of freedom it requires to buy into gw due to manmade causes.
gw will require you to give up your personal freedoms and your national sovereignty to a global governing body. the UN has already stated the "solution" to gw is to pay a global tax.
logically and historically his gloom and doom doesnt hold up.
examples:
they said multiple massive hurricanes in the yr following Katrina and it was laughable how wrong they were.
in the 70s , the same groups were saying 10 yrs left before global cooling killed us all.
can man really control the climate? c'mon.
they cant get the weather right for next week most of the time.
so the F/A box should add , are you willing to trade freedom for a false, temporary security, and once you realize you were scammed, you are already under the control of a global government.?
also ive never heard answers to questions such as
why is mars undergoing climate change?
who decided that the temperature now is the optimum climate and it should never change? What caused all the fluctuations before?
What happened to end the ice age? no significant human activity then.
We know the earth underwent gw then.Comment

Re: High-school teacher spreads the word on climate change
His solution was to throw money at it, doesn't matter if it really exist, man causes it, or even if it could be fixed. He doesn't address anything, just says since we don't know anything, we better just spend money on it.Comment

Re: High-school teacher spreads the word on climate change
Now how exactly do we change anything?
I mean, the biggest problem is the burning of fossil fuels for electricity. The best way to get around that is the building of new nuclear power plants, which in a major sense of irony, are near impossible to build because of said doomsayers.
Until somebody gives me a reason to care, I'm just going to sit back, play a few videogames, get wet in a few hoes, and hate on Ohio St.Comment

Re: High-school teacher spreads the word on climate change
The only thing you need to know about global warming is this. The avg temp on Mars has been rising at a rate greater then that of Earth. Think about it."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: High-school teacher spreads the word on climate change
The guy said in the video that global warming was a bad name for it anyway. The rapid change in the climate is the actual problem.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
