What blog software are you using for websites

I know that some of you guys have started up your own websites and at least a couple (Candyman and EG come to mind) look like they might be using the same software. What blog software are you using? I want to get a website up and running for our youth group. Thanks in advance.

    Blogger.com

I liked it the most based on the google aps that come with it if you buy the domain through them. If you just want suchandsuch.blogger.com, then it's all free. You get a lot of support, but more if you pay the $10 a year for the webspace, email addresses, as well as the domain.

The only other one I tried and liked was Wordpress.com.

    Good luck!

I use Wordpress.... it's easy to use and it gives you a ton of options and customization, etc. Lots of nice templates to get your basic format up and running as well. Also has a lot of applications you can download and add/remove to your site when you decide to try new features.
Bluehost - Top rated web hosting provider - Free 1 click installs For blogs, shopping carts, and more. Get a free domain name, real NON-outsourced 24/7 support, and superior speed. web hosting provider php hosting cheap web hosting, Web hosting, domain names, front page hosting, email hosting. I have another site and I use Network Solutions for that one. Registered the domain through them and they have a bunch of tools that help you build your own custom website just like all of the other places out there.

If it's a blog you want, I'd go with wordpress. If you want the look and feel of a more biz/professional looking site I'd go with Network Solutions.

I'm sure people can give you more thoughts/opinions but these are the 2 that I've used.

Thanks for the info guys. I've been trying something called Joomla. It's really nice, but It may be a little bit more complicated than I want with everything else I have going on. I've tried Wordpress before and it was pretty good. Man, I wish I could use the same software that I used for our town website (http://www.pvaz.net) but it's a little more than our church can afford. That CMS is nice and really easy to maintain.

Haha...the group of guys I started my blog with....we started with Joomla. It was too complicated and wasn't all that user-friendly. We switched over to Wordpress and haven't looked back.
