What's the best LCD HDTV for under 1000$?

I keep hearing Vizio but I want some other opinions. Looking for between 32-42 inches.

I have a Vizio and very happy with the purchase, but you can't go wrong with the usual suspects: Samsung, Sony, Sharp Aquos.

Panasonic is the best with plasma, IMO.

I have a Samsung LN-T2353H 23" LCD HDTV. I'm guessing that, if the 32" model is under $1000, that will be the best TV to go for. Hopefully you get one without ghosting issues or lag, because mine has both (which they shouldn't).

As far as I'm concerned, this TV is not supposed to have either of these problems. I just have a bad TV out of every thousand or whatever.

Just bought that tv last week actually and love it so far, no issues with it to this point anyway. I got it on sale at Circuit City for $729.99, great tv.
