The Rise and Fall of Eminem

Deeply depressed rapper Eminem has become a virtual recluse, comfort eating his way towards obesity. The once skinny Slim Shady, who spent four days in hospital over Christmas suffering from pneumonia and suspected heart problems, is just 5ft 7inches tall but has ballooned up to 14.5 stone

    Pretty interesting article.

Dam, sounds like he just letting it go. Doesn't care about it anymore. He will always have royality checks coming in. He'll be fine.

Seems like the major source is his mom, who just happens to be plugging a book.

Yeah, but fat Eminem looks like a skinny fat guy. Plenty of fat guys are saying "That's fat?"

He's got bigger issues to deal with besides his weight. The weight gain seems to be a side effect of everything else that's bothering him.

Still, there's something about a smart assed rapper that loses something once that rapper is seriously flawed and fattening.
The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!

He'll be fine? He's been a walking time bomb. Anyone who can't play along with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog is a walking time bomb.

My god...is stones still a known weight measurement? How about just saying he's around 90 kg or 200 pounds. Why even stop at 5'7"...why don't they give his height in hands or something.

He basically hinted over and over he was near the end of his career a few years ago. Not sure why. He's been out of the picture for a while now. It would be nice for him to get his fire back and at least get healthy again.

Like trob said, the source for this story is his mother so I'm not believing it until I see it.

Maybe he just has a ton of health issues and he wanted to spend his remaining years with his daughter?

What's crazy is that a lot of people are talking about an album he is supposedly putting out(that they have worked on with him) that will reclaim the top spot for him.

Who knows really. Just give it some time. I don't think he's done with the game. I'm no real rap fan, but is earlier stuff was absolutely insane.
