    Computer Reformat

OK guys, since I wont be able to bring that iMac I wanted to Aussie, I need to reformat my Acer Laptop.

Acers come with their own Windows cds and when I put them in to set up a new windows, it says it'll only reformat the first partition. Does anyone know how to partition the entire harddrive?

Also, after it's done and I have to re-install windows, how would I go about partitioning the harddrive? Ive never dont this before.

    Thanks

I have an acer and this is what i did. I went to the second harddrive and right clicked on it and selected format drive.

To format the windows based hard drive, just insert the windows cd and follow the steps to delete the partition and reformat...then reinstall windows.

Does that remove the 2nd partition?

No it does not. I look around the net trying to figure it out, but the process to do so seemed to long and drawn out.
