Re: Favorite Rap Group of All-Time
I don't even have a close second. They're probably the only kats who's music I actually go out and BUY.
I guess Digital would be a distant 2nd. Those guys were great.Last edited by SoMiss2000; 01-18-2008, 11:12 AM."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Re: Favorite Rap Group of All-Time
When their stuff was coming out the Wu was my favorite but years later, looking back, they never fulfilled their potential IMO but then again what are the odds you're going to keep a 9-man group happy? I'll never forget when Forever came out in HS and some of my boys skipped school just to get the album first thing that day, crazy.

I think they did fulfill their potential. How can you not when you have this many classic albums under your belt:

The RootsOriginally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Kriss Kross has to take it for me. But for real it would be tough to say Outkast although I really got into Bone Thugs when I was younger.Comment

Re: Favorite Rap Group of All-Time
Wu Tang bitches.
In terms of rapping talent, the GZA, Deck, and Ghost all had the ability to be the GOAT. Rae, Meth, and Masta Killa were all very good, and Dirty at least kept it interesting. RZA is arguably the greatest producer of all time if you look at the work he did. Considering he didn't just produce an album every 5 years and put out 2-3 songs a year, but produce 95% of the songs for what, 7 CDs in 4-5 years is crazy.
My only problem is they didn't have another producer to do any of the early albums, leaving Masta and Deck without albums during the good years.Comment
