Re: Favorite Rap Group of All-Time
Remember I am a white guy in my mid 30's.
In no particular order
1. Public Enemy
2. Run DMC
3. Beatie Boys
4. Eric B. and Rakhim
5. NWA
Imo, NWA's "Straight Outta Compton" is probably the greatest rap album of all time.Comment

Re: Favorite Rap Group of All-Time
I don't know, I don't think it's a coincidence that they all started rapping better after leaving Cash Money (aside from Wayne who did much better when he was the sole focus of the company). Well, I don't know about The Turkey, I think he's in prison or something.Comment

Re: Favorite Rap Group of All-Time
I love New Orleans but I can't stand New Orleans rap. The only song I remember liking by anyone affiliated with the hot boyz was Shine.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Favorite Rap Group of All-Time
I agree. I wonder what B.G, Turk and Juve are doin these days.
I can't stand anything that's marketed for the radio or television, but I think they'd be putting out some decent stuff for their demographic.Comment

Re: Favorite Rap Group of All-Time
Wow they probably shouldn't, I just listened to their stuff, and I feel ashamed I even conjured their name in the thread. I can't believe I actually bought their album and listened to their stuff as a youngster. I used to listen to them religiously before basketball games, my favorite track was "Hypnotize Cash Money" with the Tear da Club up Thugs. I'm glad I snapped out of that quick.Comment
