Fans of Firefly/Serenity

Hey all,

Thanks to a good friend of mine, I am now a HUGE fan of Firefly and Serenity. Several others TRIED to convert me for over two years but in my stubbornness I resisted...I did have a lot of other stuff going on but I see now, that’s no excuse.

If you know the series/movie, then you know how great it is. If you don't you'd be doing yourself a GREAT service to go out and rent the series and watch them(then BUY the new Limited Edition Serenity DVD), watch the series first then the movie. If you are even a passing fan of SciFi...no truer words could be articulated...you will love it.

But, here is what I am asking...if anyone else is a fan(or soon to be), please follow this link and sign up at the forum:

Universal HD Forums

The new Universal HD channel will be airing the entire series in the correct order starting in March. The hope is if enough people signup and show support they will make a sequel to the Serenity movie.

So, if you could take the time to signup and and maybe post a simple message in the Introduce Yourself thread(just to make sure your "vote" counts) it would be awesome.

Big fan of the show and movie here. A friend of mine introduced me to the show a few years ago. I wish I'd known how good it was when it was on. Actually I wish a lot of people knew how good it was so maybe it would last longer. I'm still holding out hope for a sequel to Serenity.

I loved Firefly, it's a shame Fox never gave it a chance to catch on. Btw this will be the second time UHD has run the complete series, they did so last year.

Awesome film and TV show. Can't recommend it enough.

Hopefully they make a sequel to Serenity.

Not only do I love Firefly but I also got my mom hooked on it. Now she's watching The Sarah Connor Chronicles just because of River Tam.

I have the entire series and the movie on my queue and expect to watch it soon.

I think Joss Whedon is a genius so I already knew this show had to be good.

One of my favorite shows of all time. I have the only season set and the HD-DVD of serenity.

Oh yeah...LOVE that...Jayne also has one of my other favorites; "Hmmm...I'll be in my bunk."

I also liked Mal's line when Wash had disabled the shuttle, "I know I'm mad AND I'm armed."

You know the one liners in that series is awesome! Gotta get the word out and get more shows/movies!
